Knowledge:
  • Michelangelo's father sent him to study with the Humanist Francesco da Urbino in Florence as a young boy
  • From 1490 to 1492, Michelangelo attended the Humanist academy which the Medici had founded
  • had the knowledge and talent to be a sculpture, painter, architect, and poet
  • during his training, he was the apprentice to Domenico Gharlandaio

    Who was Domenico Gharlandio? Was he some sort of artisit maybe?
